How to Find Us
We are located close to Waterperry Village near Wheatley off Junction 8 on the M40. For more precise directions please see the maps below.
From Oxford
From Headington take the A40 towards London. Take the Exit for Wheatley. At the T junction go right following the sign for the Waterperry Gardens. Go over the A40 and turn left at mini roundabout. Take the first left at the next mini roundabout and follow signs for Waterperry Gardens. The road will go under the A40 and over the M40 towards Waterperry. (Directions continued in the next section)
From London
Take the M40 towards Birmingham. Take the exit at Junction 8 (A40 Oxford). After approximatly 1 mile take the slip road exit, A418, towards Thame. As the slip road curves left then right take the exit signpost Wheatley and Waterperry Gardens. Go over the bridge, past the enterance to ASDA and take the first right after the Car Showroom. 300 yards later there will be a road on the right, take this road under the A40 and over the M40 towards Waterperry. Local Area Directions
After passing over the M40 continue for about quarter of a mile until you come to a very sharp S bend to the right, then the left (slow down for this !). There is a turning to the right on the S bend which leads to Waterperry village. DO NOT TAKE THIS ROAD. Instead continue straight in the direction of Worminghall and continue slowly. After 200 yards you will pass a bungalow on your right.
The entrance to Waterperry Shooting Ground is the next gateway on the right (see picture 1 below) and has a tarmac entrance to a field. If you are expected a signpost should mark this entrance. Please open the gate, drive in and close the gate behind you. If you drive straight towards the large oak tree you will see the shooting ground. (see picture 2 below)
