Hen and Stag Events

Clay Pigeon Shooting is the classic, tried and tested Stag Party activity.  The Boys need to watch out however as more and more Hen Parties are also giving it a try; with some girls out shooting the Boys! 

 

All the gear needed to make you look like a instant pro; shooting jacket, hat, (both optional) glasses and ear defenders (compulsory) and of course a shotgun is provided, so you'll really look the part.  Question is, will it be "all the gear, and no idea" or a "walk in the park ?"

The number of clays and setup will vary with the programme you choose.  Sessions are normally run as half-day events, but we can build a whole day's shooting with many different disciplines if you prefer.  Whatever you choose you'll get a lot out of any session with our charismatic, friendly instructors.

The atmosphere at the shooting ground is friendly and relaxed; we shoot at your pace, not our own.  When you are not shooting you are free to have a kick about with a football in an adjacent field (ball provided) and refreshments are also available (tea, coffee, Danish pastries and hot pastry sausage rolls) are also available and included in the price. We also provide free air rifle shooting.

When it comes to the shooting we tailor things to meet your requirements on the day.  We take into account how many people have shot before, the number in your party and the weather (wind rather than rain)  We are able to set up stands to simulate "Driven", "Down-the-line",  "Crossers", "Overhead", "Rabbit" and we also have a "Skeet Range"  If your not sure what this means and want to find out more then see our Skeet and Sporting Target Section, but rest assured that we will make sure that you have an enjoyable experience. 

Each session starts with a safety talk and provides individual instruction when you are actually shooting.  We normally start with some "Driven" targets to get you started and then move on to other stands as the group dictates and finish with a mini competition between all the shooters which you can record on a souvenir score card.  The winner of the competition will receive a Top Gun Certificate to take away.

Estimated Time:	Just over 2 hours for a group of 6.  More time is needed for bigger groups

Under NO CIRCUMSTANCES will clients be allowed to do any shooting if they have consumed alcohol or drugs prior to arrival at the shooting ground. You are however free to consume beverages once all the shooting has been completed.
