Tuition and Instruction

We cater for all abilities of shooter, from complete novice to World Champions. The most important aspect of shooting is safety and we recommend that anyone who had not shot before, or not held a gun for a while has lessons. We teach the CPSA method of shooting and gun safety and have a CPSA qualified instructor.

We have a selection of guns available in calibres and sizes to suit men, women and children. The friendly atmosphere at Waterperry makes it an ideal opportunity for a fun day out either as an individual or as a group. If you have wanted to have a go at shooting, or to get back into it after a break, then now is the time to have a lesson at Waterperry Shooting Ground.

 

Group Tuition

Introductory Lesson

Designed to give you a basic understanding of shooting and the techniques and basic grounding that you need in order to be able to pursue shooting further is you wish.

Group Tuition

Group tuition is tailored to suit your groups individual requirements.  Most commonly this is for Hen / Stag Parties or Corporate Events (see menu for more information) but we also cater for Birthday Parties, a family day out or just a group of friends who want to come and have a go at shooting.  The ground is set in 160 acres of farmland with public footpaths (away from the shooting) so there is the opportunity to relax and go for a walk in between shoots.  We also have footballs on-site for you to have a kick around in an adjoining field if you so wish.  At Waterperry Shooting Ground we want to enjoy shooting in a casual and relaxed atmosphere and at your own pace.  The most important thing is to enjoy yourself!

Private Instruction

These lessons are tailored to the shooter's individual needs and abilities. Whether you are a novice or an experienced shot wishing to iron out specific problems, you will find this one-to-one tuition invaluable.

Charged by the hour, not by the amount you shoot, private instruction is normally carried out on a two clients to one instructor as we find this works best. The maximum number of people for private instruction is three and we cater for couples and also father/mother-and-son/daughter instruction for those who want to come along and shoot together.

We have a number of instructors which will be able to give individual tuition.

A member of the England Shooting Team and still the only person to have shot a "Perfect 100" at both the Waterperry and Wycombe shooting grounds John is available to coach complete beginner through to advanced shooting techniques.
